New Start Restoration Initiative
New Start Restoration Initiative is a community based program designed to support individuals seeking a fresh start by providing structured mentorship, workforce training, and pathways to stable employment and housing.
The program operates through a four-phase model: Intake, Stabilization, Skill Development, and Placement. Participants receive personalized support, hands-on training in construction and media, and guidance through faith based mentorship.
Through strategic partnerships and community collaboration, the initiative aims to reduce recidivism, increase employment outcomes, and promote long term self sufficiency.
-
Participants receive consistent one on one guidance focused on accountability, personal growth, and decision making. Through structured support and faith based encouragement, mentorship helps individuals build confidence, discipline, and a renewed sense of purpose. Mentorship also helps participants identify career pathways and prepare for opportunities in high demand sectors aligned with today’s workforce priorities, including skilled trades, advanced manufacturing, construction, information technology, artificial intelligence related roles, healthcare, transportation, and other employer driven industries. By combining personal support with career direction, the program helps individuals build both the character and practical readiness needed for long term success.
-
Participants receive hands on workforce training designed to build practical skills and prepare them for real employment opportunities. Training focuses on high demand industries such as construction, advanced manufacturing, information technology, artificial intelligence related roles, healthcare, transportation, and other employer driven sectors. Participants gain experience through guided instruction, real work activities, and skill development that strengthens reliability, problem solving, and job readiness. By combining training with mentorship and career direction, the program equips individuals with the tools needed to secure employment and grow within the workforce.
-
Participants are supported in identifying and securing stable housing as a key step toward long term success. The program provides guidance, resource connection, and planning to help individuals move from unstable living situations into safe and reliable housing. By working with local partners and community resources, participants are connected to housing opportunities that match their needs and goals. Housing support is integrated with employment and mentorship efforts to ensure participants build a stable foundation that allows them to maintain progress and independence.
-
Participants are supported through a strong network of community partners, mentors, and local resources that provide encouragement, accountability, and connection. The program helps individuals build positive relationships and access services that support their personal and professional growth. By creating a sense of belonging and shared responsibility, community support reinforces stability and helps participants stay engaged in their progress. This network continues to provide guidance and support beyond the program, helping individuals maintain success and remain connected to opportunities.
Program Impact Goals
Helping individuals move from instability to independence.
Serving 50-100 participants each year, the New Start Restoration Initiative provides mentorship, job training, and structured support to create real opportunities for change.
Our goal is to help 75% of participants secure employment and 50% achieve stable housing, while providing ongoing guidance to support long-term success.
Ongoing mentorship and retention support means participants continue to receive guidance, encouragement, and accountability even after they begin working or secure housing. The program stays connected to help them navigate challenges, stay on track, and maintain progress. This continued support increases the chances that participants keep their jobs, remain stable in housing, and achieve long term success.
We believe in simple ideas, strong relationships, and lasting impact. What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.
